Synopsis
After witnessing her bonded bear Brugen killed by her sister Fiona, Emma wakes in a classroom, returned to the day of the magical creature binding ritual. Professor Madison assigns her the unwanted grey-maned bear—but Fiona interrupts and gives Emma her golden dragon hatchling instead, taking Brugen for herself. Emma realizes this is her second chance. Though mocked by classmates, she knows that in half a month, deadly frost will change everything.
